Meet Dr. Cann
Dr. Michael Cann is an experienced educator, leader, and passionate advocate for engaging, high-quality learning experiences for all students. He holds a B.S. in Education from Miami University, an M.Ed. in Administration from the University of Cincinnati, and a Doctoral Degree in Special Education from the University of Florida.
With years of experience teaching elementary students, supporting families as an educational advocate in a hospital setting, and serving in both school-based and district-level leadership roles, Dr. Cann brings a deep understanding of how children learn—and how to help them thrive.
He is also a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), a distinction that reflects advanced teaching expertise, a commitment to excellence, and a deep knowledge of effective instructional practices. But beyond the credentials, Dr. Cann is known for something just as important—his ability to connect with kids and make learning exciting.
